A courtesy block of 80 rooms has been reserved at the Marriot Mission Valley, (8757 Rio San Diego Dr, San Diego, CA 92108). The conference rate per night is $165 plus tax. Reservations must be made before Wednesday, April 17, 2019 to get this group rate.
 

The hotel is located right next to the Green trolley line that will take to you directly to the stop on the San Diego State Campus, or in the other direction to downtown for more restaurant choices. The registration fee will include a 3 day trolley pass.

The conference will be held on the San Diego State University campus, June 2-5, 2019.
in the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union building. The Union Building was the first
major sustainable new construction on the SDSU campus and was completed two years
ago. At 206,000 square feet and 4-stories, the Building contains a 300-seat theater, a 6000-
square-foot gym, a bowling alley, three dining facilities, a major ballroom, retail space.
More importantly, it contains 13 meeting rooms of various sizes and capacities, including
the Montezuma Hall and a 300 seat multipurpose theatre, Goldberg Courtyard. It
is designed to accommodate students of all abilities. The facilities are available for a low
cost rent to SDSU faculty.
 
San Diego is served by the San Diego International Airport (SAN), located downtown,
which has direct nonstop  flights to 60 cities around the US. San Diego is also accessible
from the Los Angeles area airports, including LAX, which is 125 miles (200km) away by
freeway. San Diego has a public train that serves the coast of the county and a trolley
system, which serves the metropolitan area including SDSU.
